Ways to Support

VHVH helps veterans regain independence and quality of life. It’s funded mainly by the Veterans Administration at $64.52 per resident daily, but this falls short due to rising expenses like utilities and meals. The organization uses private fundraising to cover additional needs like facility maintenance, security upgrades, and transportation for medical appointments and work.

Your donation to VHVH is entirely tax deductible. You can give to us easily and securely.

Most of our veterans hold jobs while they are in our program. Working in the community allows our clients to save money for the rent and living expenses they will have when they have completed our program. It also provides them with valuable job experience. Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned bowler, join us for the first ever Veterans Helping Veterans Heal (VHVH) Charity Bowling Tournament. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for VHVH, a 24-bed shelter for male military veterans dealing with chronic homelessness. Several sponsorship levels are available to businesses and individuals who wish to support our mission.

VHVH’s annual golf tournament raises money to support our programs. The tournament is typically held each September. A 2024 date has been set for September 19th at Reynolds Park Golf Course.
